What is the maximum safe sustained temp for the 14900K ?

I run very heavy CPU workloads 24/7, so my CPU is constantly pushed to the limit.
What is the maximum safe temp I should try to keep it at ?
Is 100°C fine, even for multiple months of constant usage ?

Should I aim for something lower like 80°C ?

Thanks

Hi Guliernai,

Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.

Kindly provide the following information, so I can provide an accurate answer to your inquiry:

1. If you say you run very heavy CPU workloads, do you mean are you running stress tests on the machine?

2. Are you getting constant 100 degrees celsius all the time or it only hovers at that temperature for a short amount of time?

3. It would really help us if we can get more information about your system. Please download and run our Intel® System Support Utility from this page. To run it, please press "Scan". After the scan is finished, click next and there will be a save button, giving you an option to save the logs to a text file, please do so and attach the file on your reply. You can refer to How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows* for instructions.

4. What is your temperature when your system is idle?

5. Are you getting the same 100 degrees celsius readings inside BIOS?

6. What is the brand and model of your thermal solution or fan and heatsink?

We look forward to your reply.
