what will happen if I have i5 12400f with ddr5 5200 ram

It will work at 5200 if you enable XMP in the motherboard BIOS. Check the memory compatibility list for your motherboard on the board manufacturer's support website.

Before you proceed in enabling the XMP, Enabling XMP to alter clock frequency or voltage may void any product warranties and reduce stability, security, performance, and life of the processor and other components. I'll proceed to close this case now.
If you still wish to proceed, in using the higher frequency outside the supported frequency, you can refer to How to Overclock RAM - Intel
