Hello, I bought Dell Inspiron 5530 about 1 week ago. It has been working very slowly since the day I bought the device. Although the scores are normal in the benchmarks, it runs laggy in the Windows interface. Apart from Windows, I also tried Fedora and Ubuntu. Both were slow, although not as slow as Windows. Especially when I turn off Turbo Boost, the slowness level is felt twice as much. Please help me.
My Computer Specs: i5 1335u. 16 GB DDR5 RAM, 4200 Mb Read - 1800 Mb Write Adata nVme SSD

Hello @CptPrice  have you tried to follow the steps from your device manufacturer? if not, you may want to see this article, https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-ph/000178928/how-to-troubleshoot-slow-performance-issues . Also, slowness of your computer may be caused by the following:

  • Fragmented data on the hard disk drive.
  • Unused applications running in the background.
  • Outdated drivers for devices such as chipset, BIOS, docking stations, and so on.
  • Outdated or corrupt operating system files.
  • Current computer configuration does not meet the requirements for high-end applications or games.
  • Hard disk errors.
  • Insufficient system memory (RAM).
  • Hardware failure.
  • Malware infection.

If issue persisted, please provide the SSU logs of your device utilizing Windows OS by following the instructions on this link, https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057926/memory-and-storage.html
