Hi Everyone tells me that is a processor problem but im not savvy enough to know if is true. Thats why im here asking the Pros. I have Gigabyte z790 Aorus Elite AX with Corsair Vengeance DDR5 16GB x 2 5600MHz . The PC will only boot with one ram stick in A2. I spoke with the manufacturer, they said everythings is compatible but on their website also said that is compatible if i OC. What do i need to OC? the Processor or the Ramstick? My processor is Intel i7 12700K if i OC will it boot with 2 Ram sticks and not recognized them as 4800.0MHz? When i boot with only one stick on A2 the red screen shows is working at 4800 not 5600. By the way nothing is broken, the 2 sticks are new and working i made test and the sockets of the mobo all works. And the Bios is the latest from April 2023. The red window wont appear with 2 sticks, if i use 2 sticks (A1 B1 oe A2 B2 wont boot, monitor wont turn on)

When you use two DDR modules, one should be installed in channel A2 and the second in channel B2. Please refer to page 16 in the Board Manual.

And 'everyone' is absolutely full of it. Very unlikely to be the processor. Far, far more likely to be the motherboard or (especially) its BIOS.

Hello ZoyitaFour,
Thank you for posting on the Intel
Related to the overclocking questions, it is not necessary to do it, the computer should boot with both RAM sticks with the overclocking disabled.
To have a better understanding of the situation, please answer the following questions:
- Did the recommendation provided by @LeonWaksman work for you?
- Was it working before?
Regards,
Andres P.

Looks like a Memory Channel has failed. Either (a) the motherboard, or (b) the processor, is responsible for this. You can take your pick regarding which to replace first. If you wish to replace the processor, you need to directly contact Intel to start the RMA process (you cannot do it here).
After verifying that your warranty is still active (here: Determine if Your Product Is Still Under Warranty), you need to directly contact Intel Customer Support to initiate the RMA process (you cannot do this through the forums). You can start here: Contact Intel Support or use this page where you can directly look up local/country phone numbers: Intel Support Phone Directory.
You can also use the online forms service or email, but I actually recommend calling them directly. The above link provides local or toll-free numbers for most countries and these numbers support most local languages. You could also use the chat service (start here: Intel Customer Support Chat), but understand that this service is offered only in English and is subject to the normal (9:00-5:00 M-F) office hours in the Pacific (UTC-8) time zone.
Hope this helps,
