intel maximizer System Requirements Not Met

Hi, I'm having compatibility problems with the software that worked until a few weeks ago. Today I decide to reopen the application and it tells me that it is not compatible with my system but I haven't changed anything on the hardware or software side, what should I do to solve the problem? I have already reinstalled the software but nothing. I attach file with computer details.

paparazzo, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In reference to this scenario, even though you mentioned that at some point you were using the tool before, it is always important to review the system requirements for the application. Please verify those details in the following link:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000058115/processors/intel-core-processors.html

In the links below you will find the "ERROR: "System Requirements Not Met" in Intel® Performance Maximizer" and the "Troubleshooting Guide for Intel® Performance Maximizer Tool". Please check the suggestions provided there, especially the one related to the BIOS microcode of the motherboard:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000060138/processors/processor-utilities-and-programs.html

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000058117/processors/intel-core-processors.html

Additionally, just in case, it is important to mention that there is an Intel® Performance Maximizer version for 10th and 11th-generation processors and another for 9th-generation processors, which is the one you have i7-9700K. Here is the version for your platform for you to reinstall it again:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19420/intel-performance-maximizer-for-9th-generation-intel-core-processors.html

Once you get the chance, please let us know the results.

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Albert R.

hi, thanks for the reply. I reset the bios and checked all parameters. Hyper threading is not supported by the cpu, turbo boost doesn't ask me for the version but it is activated (it doesn't tell me 2.0), I can't find the enhanced intel speedstep entry and I can't figure out if my processor is compatible with this technology. Regarding the microcode the bios is the most recent and since the software has already been started I assume that is not the problem (there is a bios update from 2019 where there is a cpu microcode update, my bios is from 2021). The installed software version is correct.

Hi paparazzo, You are very welcome, thank you very much for sharing those details.

We are sorry to hear the issue persisted after trying the suggestions provided previously.

Correct, the processor does not support Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology and the turbo boot version on it is 2.0:

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/186604/intel-core-i79700k-processor-12m-cache-up-to-4-90-ghz.html

The Speed Step entry is located in the BIOS, if you did not see it there probably is because the feature is not available for your board, but that is something that only Gigabyte will be able to confirm:

Based on the results, we will do further research on this matter to try to find a possible solution for this scenario, as soon as I get any updates, I will post all the details on this thread.

Hello paparazzo, I just received an update on this matter.

After reviewing the case, and even though you mentioned that you were using the tool before, on the link below for the release notes of Intel® Performance Maximizer, you will be able to confirm that the application is not compatible with Windows* 11, that is the reason why it is currently not working, page 5:

ah, you're right. I didn't pose the problem since I used the software only when I had Windows 11 and no previous versions, perhaps some recent Windows update made the software detect the incompatible OS. Thanks for your help

paparazzo, You are very welcome, thank you very much for your response.

Yes, most likely that is what it was, a Windows update made the software detect that the Operating System was incompatible.
