Hello,

In 5CEA7 FPGA series, considering FPGA part number 5CEBA7F27C8N while looking into mechanical drawings document, the document mentioned Option1 and Option2 top views separately.

Difference observed in Option1 and Option2 is as below

Option 1  contains: Dimple by Mold gate

Option 2  contains: Dimple by Mold gate , Dimple by Ejected pin(2 places)

1. What is difference in between Option1 and Option2 ? If the 5CEBA7F27C8N is ordered, will it come with Option1 or Option2

2. And please confirm whether the Option1 and Option2 will have any difference in pin-out or not?

Hi,

Please refer to PCN 2314. The different options are caused by assembly site transition.

The package of the unit you receive depends on the COO (Country of Origin). COO Taiwan on the top mark and label for ASEK parts, which have two ejector pin marks (Option 2).

Hello,

Thank you for the update.

It is understood that option1 and option2 are different only based on assembly site, and will have same pin-out functionality? Please confirm

Hi,

According to the PCN, "There is no impact to fit, function, form, quality, and reliability of the product. The products will meet existing electrical and mechanical specifications."

The pin-out functionality will stay the same.

Best Regards,

XY
