Good day,
I will initially use a -4 speed grade Agilex 5, E-Series, Group B device and then later on transition to a -6 speed grade option. The power supply I want to use can generate a maximum of 775mV, which is a 3.125% deviation from the required 800mV for the core supply of the -4 device. What will happen if this is the supply voltage?
Kind regards,
Nicole

Hi Nicole,
You can refer to the datasheet for detailed information. As long as the parameters are within the Recommended Operating Conditions, it shouldn’t be an issue. Refer : Agilex™ 5 FPGAs and SoCs Device Data Sheet page 20
Let me know if you need further clarification.
Best regards,
Fakhrul

I think that you are risking some weird calculation bugs by undervolting the device.
Table presented by Fakhrul is for a SmartVID device, so it's not for the device you're using. Also for SmartVID voltage regulator must be capable for outputting 0.7 to 0.9 V as requested by FPGA.
For 4S device you need to have 0.8 V nominal voltage that could drop to 0.776 V minimum. This minimum includes voltage regulator accuracy, voltage ripple and ac transient under load pulse. So even if your regulator could do 0.776 V you will not have any margin for transients and accuracy. See the Power Distribution Network Design Guidelines for Agilex 5.
