Cyclone V LVDS "programmable differential voltage" and "Pre-Emphasis"

Hi,

Transceivers have analog parameters, like VOD, that can be altered e.g. with below for ETH IP.

set_instance_assignment -name XCVR_TX_VOD 44 -to "platform:platform|eth_tse_0:eth_tse_0"

Can user IO LVDS differential outputs be changed? It seems to be said so in the device Handbook, but I can't find any way to do it.  Maybe I am overlooking something? Is it just "VOD"  and what keyword is used then for programmable pre-emphasis for a regular IO LVDS?

set_instance_assignment -name XXX? 2 -to <My some LVDS output>

Hi,

You need to use the Intel® Quartus® Prime software Assignment Editor for the programmable Vod settings. For the assignment name and allowed values, refer to below link:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683375/current/programmable-differential-output-voltage.html?wapkw=cyclone%20v%20programmable%20vod

Below link is for programmabe pre-emphasis settings:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683375/current/programmable-pre-emphasis.html?wapkw=cyclone%20v%20programmable%20vod

Thanks,

For some reason I skipped the correct chapter in the Cyclone V handbook.
