Hello.
I see no LEDs on 10Gbps Intel(R) Ethernet Server Adapter X520-1 (in PC) after connecting to my board from Intel Cyclone10 GX FPGA Development Kit.
I see no LEDs on 10Gbps Intel(R) Ethernet Server Adapter X520-1 (in PC) after connecting to my board from Intel Cyclone10 GX FPGA Development Kit.
Question: My project is implemented on Intel ®Cyclone®10 GX FPGA Development Kit.
Below I describe three use-cases. I have problems with 3rd one. Could anybody help me?
( May be adapter “10Gbps Intel(R) Ethernet Server Adapter X520-1” doesn't support 10GBASE-R protocol ? )
HW Configuration
I have a testing stand with the next configuration:
1) Board-1 and Board-2 are Intel ®Cyclone®10 GX
2) Both work with PHY 10G BASE-R
3) Fiber modules SFP+ 10GE
Usecase-1:
1) Board-2 generates data flow for PHY TX channels #3 and #4
2) Board-1 receives data flow from PHY RX and forwards it to PHY TX
3) Board-2 receives data, stores it in FIFO and sends it to PC through UART
4) Check sent and received data on Board-2
Packages are sent from Board-2 and received on Board-2 are equal –it proves that logic works with PHY TX/RX implemented properly.
Usecase-2:
When a fiber cable connects IN and OUT of Ethernet Server Adapter X520-1 in PC - the LEDs of 10G are ON
Usecase-3:
But when I connect Ethernet Server Adapter X520-1 on PC to my board (Board-1) - the LEDs of 10G are OFF!
What is wrong here?
