parition alignment of X25-M G2 under Linux

How should one partition an X25-M G2 under Linux? I have read two different suggestions, both of which suggest using fdisk with a custom head and sector count, but they differ on the actual values. Both agree that partitions need to be aligned based on the SSD's erase block size. I believe that the X25-M for example uses an EBS of 512 KiB.

1) fdisk -H 224 -S 56 /dev/sdX

2) fdisk -H 32 -S 32 /dev/sdX

Advice is appreciated.

Hello, unfortunately we do not support Linux; I suggest looking for this info under the Linux forums of support.
