7265NGW no 5 GHz on Windows 10

I just installed this NEW (not used) card in a HP Pavilion 17 that is setup to dual boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux 23.10. The card works fine on the Linux partition but won't connect on 5 GHz on Windows 10. Why? I made sure that the current Windows 10 drivers are installed.

Check the Advanced Settings on your WiFi Adapter:

802.11a/b/g Wireless Mode or Wireless Mode    -       Dual-band 802.11a/b/g or 802.11a/b/g

802.11n/ac Wireless Mode                                       -        802.11ac 

Channel Width for 5GHz                                           -        Auto

Channel Width for2.4GHz                                           -      Auto

Roaming Aggressiveness                                          -        Medium

Throughput Booster                                                  -        Disabled

Preferred band                                                           -        No Preference (or  Prefer 5 GHz band)
