Some basic questions about AX20x & AX21x modules

I'm a relative neophyte when it comes to non-hardware aspects of WiFi modules, so I have some basic questions about the AX20x and AX21x series WiFi 6/E modules; these are features my client is asking for.  Do these modules, running under Linux, support the following?  I'm assuming the answer is mostly yes, but I want to be sure.

1.  Full 63-character PSK support

2.  Unique Device Identity, i.e. using a combo of MAC address and trusted CA certs used in 802.1x and MDM solutions

3.  DHCP

4.  TLS v1.2+

5.  FIPS 140-3

6.  Ability to set IP, subnet mask etc. through configurations.

7.  Ability to support (and roam between) multiple SSIDs.

8.  Ability to enter proxy information via firmware modification.

Also, where can I find receiver sensitivity specs?

This is a low-volume medical application -- how do I find out which certifications (FCC, etc.) the modules have, since we don't have an Intel Sales contact?

Many thanks,
Scott

Hello Brenconsult,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

Before we proceed, let me gather some details for me to better understand your inquiry.

  1. Why do you need these information?
  2. What is the purpose of the card? You mentioned it is for a medical application. Can you elaborate on that?
  3. Are you designing that app?
  4. Or are you designing a board/system with embedded Intel wireless?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hello Michael,

1.  The information is required by my client based on their application.  I'm just the middle man in this case.

2.  The application is a portable EEG machine for clinical, bed-side use.

3/4.  I am a hardware engineer (consultant) who is helping the client select a certified wireless module which will be mounted on their board.  I don't know if I will be the one to do the actual hardware design or not.

Thanks,

Scott
