Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
In order to better assist you, please provide the following:
1. The brand and model number of your system. You can also provide the Intel® System Support Utility for the Linux* Operating System for more details:
2. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed on your computer or did you change/install the adapter to this one?
3. Is this issue recent? If so, when did it start?
4. Where are you enabling the 802.11ax/WiFi 6 mode (BIOS, OS, Asus tool)?
5. Have you checked with Asus for instructions and advice?

Hello mailsanchu,
In order to proceed, please try and provide the following:
1. What is the brand and model name of your router?
2. Did the issue appear on windows 10/11? Or is it only limited to Linux as you mentioned?
3. Run the following commands and send us the outcome:
- modinfo iwlwifi > If there is no output, then the module isn’t installed this is the distribution installation issue.
- lsmod | grep iwlwifi > If the result is empty, the driver hasn't been loaded. Most likely to be a distribution issue.
- To verify, please type: dmesg | grep iwlwifi > If the result is empty, the driver wasn’t initialized and this is a distribution issue. If there is a result populated, proceed with the next step.
- dmesg | grep “no suitable firmware found!” > If the result is not empty, it means you don't have a suitable FW (API mentioned in the dmesg).
- Please visit here: https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/iwlwifi for supported FW, or here https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/ for the latest versions.
4. If the above steps don't work, collect the debug data:
- Type: dmesg | grep ASSERT
If the output is empty, please follow this wiki: https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/iwlwifi/debugging to extract dmesg and trace-cmd.
If the output has value, please collect it from the wiki FW dump too.

Deivid,
Firmware is working correctly for 2.4/5Ghz. So it is a firmware issue.
Does your firmware support 6GHz?

Hello mailsanchu,
Based on the research perform, I would like you to try and provide the following:
1. Update to the latest firmware version 67 and check if the issue persists.
2. Check with DELL and confirm that the latest BIOS is installed.
3. Check that the AP is using the latest firmware.
4. You mentioned randomly firmware crashes during data streaming while connecting to Asus AP at 5 GHz in 20 MHz bandwidth, but 2.4 GHz works fine?
5. Does the firmware crashes after "x" hours of streaming?
Best regards,
Deivid A.

Hello mailsanchu,
In this case, you need to check with DELL or with your Linux distributor (or where you downloaded the operating system) for firmware and instructions to update it.
Intel does not have a Linux driver nor provides steps or drivers/firmware.
