Hello. I would like to upgrade a laptop (Clevo N850H) to WIFI6 AX.
It has a core I7 7700HQ.
Is it possible to upgrade this 7th gen processor to WIFI 6 AX by replacing the existing WIFI5AC board (M2 NGFF connector) ? The current board is an Intel 3168NGW.
I see a number of WIFI 6 products (AX201,AX210, AX211). Which one would be compatible if any ?
regards

Hello oceanborn,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
I would like to let you know that Intels does not support/advise replacing any of the original components from a laptop. This action is called "Integration" and any integration needs to be approved and checked with the manufacturer of the device (laptop, MAC, motherboard, tablets, etc).
In this case, I recommend you ask the manufacturer of the laptop if they allow you to replace the wireless adapter. This is because they have to confirm if the BIOS and motherboard are compatible with the new adapter.
Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel.
