Wifi having trouble staying connected (Netwtw14 not found)

This issue recently appeared earlier today and I’ve been trying to troubleshoot ever since.

I have this issue where my Wi-fi is constantly at 1 or 0 bar and tends to disconnect at random given moment. I am a few rooms away from my wi-fi which I would understand the connection difficulties but before, when I still had the older driver installed, it would run perfectly fine at full bars. Even with the most recent drivers, i was running on one bar but had no connection issues aside from the rare ping spikes.

During games or even on call with people, I’d randomly disconnect even though my ping stays consistent. I experience huge packet loss too during those times I disconnect. Addtionally, when I do disconnect, i get the error of “Netwtw14 not found” when looking up in event viewer.

I’ve tried reinstalling the most recent driver itself onto my computer and the issue still persists.

I’d really love to find the root to my problem because I can’t seem to find any sort of helpful solution that works for my situation.

Hello freshmangoes,

Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.

I would like to know more about your system details to fully understand where the issue truly lies. Please share your system configuration so I we can fully check and provide you with an accurate fix. This could be possible by downloading the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.

  • Scan: Check the box Everything.
  • Click Scan.
  • Review: When finished scanning, click Next.
  • Click Save (.txt). *Please attach the log file as you reply.

Additionally, please share the following:

1) Router/model details.

2) May I know what driver version (old) was working fine?

I will wait for your reply.

Best regards,

JeanetteC.
