Wifi not working

Hello
I need help to resolve an issue with my system. For weeks now my WiFi has not been working, it's almost like it never existed.
I checked my hardware properties now and I'm seeing that the Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1000 is not present(Intel told me that the Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1000 is discontinued)

Then also in my Program and Features I can't see that any Intel program is installed

Is it possible to download and install maybe a Wifi driver......I really need help

You may find driver in the Microsoft Catalog.

Have you tried checking if windows update downloads and install the needed drivers for you?
