person162, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

We are sorry to hear about this issue and we will be more than glad to assist you with this matter.

Just to let you know, we only provide support in English language and currently, we are using a translation tool. Based on that, we cannot understand the information shown in the pictures.

Based on the information shown in the SSU report, the wireless driver version currently installed on your computer for the Intel® Killer™ Wireless-AC 1550i card is 20.110.0.3. That driver version is provided by Acer and should be the proper driver for your machine since it was heavily customized by them to work with your specific platform:

https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/PH317-53/NH.Q5QEP.024/downloads

If you need to update the wireless driver, then you can try to install the Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite, it will update the driver version to 22.240.0.6, which is the latest version provided by Intel®:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19779/intel-killer-performance-suite.html?wapkw=1550

If you need further assistance on this topic, please let us know the following details about your system:

Is there any problem with the performance of the wireless connection on your computer?

The wireless card, did you purchase it separately or did it come installed on the computer?

Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Albert R.

I apologize for writing this in Korean.
According to the picture, the update date for the killer performance driver is stuck at November 28, 2018.
I have been using a laptop (Acer Predator PH317-53), which is a finished product (without installing an additional external LAN card), to connect to the Internet through wifi, which is a wired/wireless router environment in my home, and have been updating the overall drivers on the Intel website for about 5 years now, but unfortunately, Only killer performance drivers keep failing.
I went through the Acer link you provided, installed the killer performance driver properly, and confirmed with my own eyes that it was working properly.
The latest version of the killer performance driver is still not being installed from Intel's website.

Also, the killer performance driver in the Acer link is marked as 2019-06-25.
Intel Driver & Support Assistant still shows the Killer Performance Driver installation date as 2018-11-28.

And finally, if you translate the short Korean text written in that photo into English, it comes out as below.
Killer Performance Driver Suite UWD - InstallShield Wizard
Error 2732, Directory Manager has not been initialized.

What should I do about the above problem?
If there's nothing I can do, I hope I can at least stop the killer performance driver update notification from appearing.

person162, No problem at all, thank you very much for your response.

It is unfortunate to hear that the issue of not being able to install the Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite in order to update the wireless driver remains after trying the suggestions provided previously.

Based on that, we will do further research on this matter to try to find a possible solution to this problem. As soon as I get any updates, I will post all the details on this thread.

In the meantime, in order to stop the killer performance driver update notification from appearing, please verify the instructions shown in the following link:
