Hi,
if I compare the pof file produced by the assembler with that produced using the convert programming files utility, I find that they are not the same. This is despite, I think, all the options being the same i.e. EPCS device selection etc. Any ideas on what might be different or how to debug this? I'm sure that prior to now I've compared the two files and they have been the same on other projects, but I'm damned if I can see what I'm doing differently on this one. Is there any way of analysing the pof to see what's inside/different (other than doing a binary comparison)? Thanks and regards, Dave.Link Copied

I forgot to add, the files produced by both methods are the same size.

It was due to the "generate compressed bitstreams" setting being enabled.
