I'm trying to install Intel MPI 2021.14.0.785 using the offline installer on a Windows Server 2022 Standard OS machine with 2 Intel Xeon Gold 6438M CPUs.
The machine has no access to the internet.
Installation runs from an Admin user.
After initiation and several successful stages, there is an error on "stage 2 - OneAPI common", the process fails and installation rolls back.
The log file specifies an error when trying to execute several powershell scripts:
toolkit_linker_pre_remove.ps1
latest_symlink_pre_remove.ps1
toolkit_linker_post_install.ps1
with the following message:
"A certificate chain could not be built to a trusted root authority.
+ CategoryInfo : SecurityError: (:) [], ParentContainsErrorRecordException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : UnauthorizedAccess"
I tried changing PowersShell Execution Policy to "Unrestricted" and to install digital signature certificate for these particular ps1 scripts, but this did not solve the issue.
Any help will be much appriciated.
Thanks,
Michael
