This is the same title as someone else posted but I cannot Reply to the other posting.   I too have two versions of Dev Studio installed (2019 and 2022) but trying to install the OneApi base toolkit doesn't show any of the Visual Studio's which to integrate with.  It just says "There is no IDE installed, so the product cannot be integrated. <blah blah blah>"

The previous poster never received an answer.  This seems to be the consensus with Intel's postings.  If the OP doesn't respond, why not at least post a "hey, try this"...at least it gives others something to try.   So what can I try to get the integration menu back?

Hi cm33,

Thanks for posting your concern on the forum. We apologize for the delay in response. We understand your suggestion. Kindly note that we look into every necessary detail of a user issue to replicate, troubleshoot and share workaround on the issues. This is because, at times, a certain error may appear due to several reasons and a non-specific workaround may cause more issues than help. However, we will share your suggestion with our internal team for consideration in possible areas and try our best to share better assistance going forward.

Coming to the current concern, we would require a few details to better understand the situation your are facing.

  • The version of the Windows operating system.
  • A screenshot of the error in the installer.
  • The installation log from the below path.
    • Path- C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\oneAPI\logs
  • From our understanding, by the Dev Studio 2019 and 2020 you are referring to Visual Studio. However, please correct us if not. Kindly share a copy of their Info (using 'Copy Info') from 'About' of the Help section of the Visual Studio versions that are installed.
  • Is there any version of Intel® Parallel Studio XE or Intel® OneAPI release (or their component) already installed on the system? If yes, kindly share their versions.

Looking forward to your update. Hope you have a nice day ahead!

Regards,

Soumya
