Hi everyone! Priviously, I've installed visual studio 2022 ver 17.11.5 on the Windows 10 64-bit system, but I failed to install oneAPI Basekit 2024.2.1.101 in both online and offline way. When I double-click the installation package w_BaseKit_p_2024.2.1.101_offline.exe, it prompts me that the C:\WINDOWS\System32\vrvsc_cHook.dll is not running on the specified Windows, with an error status of 0xc0000428. Then the installation stopped. This error even affected the normal use of the whole computer system. To solve this problem, I posted a message in this communit. Soon I got a response and the professional advised me to uninstall Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 (Version: 17.11.5) and install an older version Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 (Version: 17.9.2). Specific steps are as follows. 1.Open the Control panel and click on Uninstall a program below the Programs box. 2.Find "Microsoft Visual Studio (all existing versions)" then click the right button and uninstall. 3.The uninstaller program will be open then click on remove and select the next procedure. 4.Kindly visit the below link to find the steps with InstallCleanup.exe to make sure a Visual Studio version is completely uninstalled. 5.Once the uninstallation is complete, please proceed to uninstall Intel® Toolkits with the help of control panel or using their installers of the Intel® Toolkits. (You can skip this steps if you haven't installed any toolkit yet.) 6.After successful uninstallation, we recommend installing Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 (Version: 17.9.2) as your first step. Kindly refer to the below link to download the compatible Visual Studio version (i.e., Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 (Version: 17.9.2)) for the latest Intel® Toolkits. 7.Please note, that our engineering team has tested and documented the compatible Visual Studio versions and their build numbers for integration with the suite & toolkit versions. 8.Make sure you select the 'Desktop development with C++' component while installing Visual Studio. 9.Once Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 (Version: 17.9.2) is successfully installed, you can proceed with installing Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit from the below link. I followed these steps and successfully install Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 (Version: 17.9.2), but the installation of oneAPI Basekit 2024.2.1.101 still reported the same error. I wonder if my version of Windows system is too old. Because I did have a message when I installed VS2022 which notices me that the system was incompatible. The specific version number is Windows 10.0 18363. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you
