Does P3500 work with ubuntu 14.04?

Does P3500 work with ubuntu 14.04? (At least as a secondary drive? It doesn't need to boot).

Thanks!

Hello BananaBanana,

If you initialize/format the drive properly it should work as secondary drive with no problem. Just make sure Ubuntu supports the features that this SSD has.

Here are the specifications of the drive: http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/product-specifications/ssd-dc-p3500-seri... Intel® Solid-State Drive DC P3500 Series Product Specification and http://ark.intel.com/products/series/81000/Data-Center-SSDs Intel® SSD DC P3600 Series

Thank you! The only thing missing is figure out if it will fit in the case. Do you if the P3500 comes with a full height bracket? All the pictures I've seen it's only half height. There's another post in here that asks about the P3600, but there's no confirmation about the P3500.

Thanks
