X-25V firmware update fails

When I try to run the firmware updater on my X-25V (in an Acer netbook, SATA set to AHCI) I get an error message that starts something like:

[PMODE/W] Abort: 00

Exception: 0D

followed by some more cryptic stuff. It just fails completely. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm running the updater tool from a USB stick as I don't have access to a cd drive for my netbook.

I do not understand. I thought you had it figured and done? What happened?

Hi,

It was still giving me errors, but I've just tried to run it 3 times in a row and the third time it worked for some reason. Sorry if I've wasted peoples' time and thanks for the help. The new firmware seems to be working fine now.

Cool, the Firmware is on. Way to go. It's always good to hear you have things work.
