Intel X520-DA2 cards not getting 10gb in Windows

I just purchased an Intel x520-da2 and 4x lenovo x520-da2 cards.

All are working to a brocade 7250 but for windows I am only getting 2.5gb speeds. Windows states cards are connected at 10gb but iperf3 shows 2.5gb, file copies show 400-500mb transfer.

When I had Mellaxon Connectx-1 and 2 cards, in the same machines, i did get 10gb. 

I am switching from mellanox because they are the old cx4 plug style and obsolete where esxi, truenas and proxmox do not see them.

 

I even had issues trying to get drivers installed for both the true Intel and the Lenovo ones. Tons of googling, lead to prowinx64.exe that at least got me started then i found drivers to run.

 

I am running Driver version 4.1.251.0 (Driver Date:"06/27/2023 12:00 AM")
from Intel on all of the cards.

1x Manufacturer:"Intel" Part Number:"E68793-000"

4x Lenovo Part Number:"G63082-006" (FRU 49Y7962)

 

 

Now, if I run Linux on two machines, I get 9.4gb speeds thus I am dealing with a firmware issue or driver issue and trying to get this going.

Definitely a driver issue for ANY Windows O/S!!!!

I got 2x Mellanox ConnectX-3 EN cards, put them in, installed drivers and boom...

purchased separately... all off of ebay used.

 

Full system information?

There are 4 full systems here... all doing the same thing.

 

2x Lenovo P710

1x lenovo M900

1x MSI z690-a motherboard clone

 

The issue is not the systems as I can boot off of a linux distro and get full speeds. it has to do with Windows and drivers for this card.

In Windows 10, Windows 11 and Server 2022 so all Windows...

Latest bios in, drivers are from release 29...

if i boot on a linux live disk... i get 9.4gb so it isnthardware

As per the picture of the adapter that you shared, it is not an authorized Intel adapter. As per the part number (49Y7962) located in the adapter label, it indicates it is a Lenovo Ethernet adapter.
