I have to develop an application for a Symbol MC90xx. It is an industrial handheld device with Intel XScale Bulverde PXA270 processor at 624 MHz. Is it possible to develop from a (Linux) Ubuntu distro O.S. ? I am using Eclipse (C++ perspective), but Symbol does not offer any C++ SDK for Linux (only Windows, Windows, Windows, ... aaaaaaah). Is it possible to use any Intel C++ Compiler for Linux to generate the aplication? And, if so, will I be able to access specific devices as barcode readers, touch screen, keypad, and so on?
