Hello,
i want to download a non-commercial licence but the page is "under revision" ( https://software.intel.com/en-us/non-commercial-software-development). Does anyone know when it will be possible to download the free software again?
thx
Alex

Discontinuance of non-commercial license was announced, due to widespread violations. This may be one of those topics which Intel doesn't want to make it easy to look up.

Tim is correct - the non-commercial Fortran offering has been discontinued.

Evidently the non-commercial C++ development license has also been discontinued. I will be informing Boost developers of that so at least they know about it. Personally I think it is foolish of Intel since Boost C++ developers such as myself are the ones to find potential bugs in their C++ compiler offerings, but they are a company and can do what they want.

The noncommercial C++ is planned to return, though I don't know when.

It was felt that there was too much abuse of the program. I certainly had seen that myself from comments by users who knew they were not eligible but used it for free anyway. However, I have been told today that the program may return in the near future. How "near", I don't know.
