Hi,

I would like to use HW encoding(GPU) on the following environment.

(Environment)

OS : Windows 7

Processor : CPU:Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU E3825@1.33GHz 1.33GHz

According to the following web page, Intel Media SDK does not support this processor.

https://software.intel.com/en-us/media-sdk/documentation/system-requirements

Are there any method to use HW encoding on this processor?

Would you please tell me how to solve the problem?

Hi Hirose San,

In hardware spec, you can see this BayTrail processor does have hardware codec:

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/78474/intel-atom-processor-e3825-1m-cache-1-33-ghz.html

But I don't think Media SDK support it, as far as I know, we support hardware code from Haswell, a few years before Baytrail, but we didn't support Atom until ApolloLake.

You might try our Media SDK open source to see if it can support it:
