License Check failed while running Inspector.

I am not able to run the analysis, every time it shows License check failed.

Hi Akhilesh, please check whether of not your license has expired or not. If not please make sure that the license file has not been deleted or removed from the license directory. The default path of license directory on Windows> C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Licenses.


The compiler follows the license directory path during the compilation process to check for the license file.

Hello Team,

 

Not able to find License file on my Linux machine, but rest of the Intel applications are working fine so license file might be present. 

 

The error that I am getting is : Cannot connect to the license server make sure your license daemon is running, the port@host or license file is correct, and the port and hostname in the license file has not been changed.

Akhilesh, make sure of these below few things:


1.     Upgrade the Intel® Software License manager to latest version 2.12

2.     Your system date should be the current date and time 

3.     Remove all the old license file from the directory

4.     Download a fresh copy of the license file from Intel® Registration Center and do not modify the license file name

5.     The default for the lmgrd port was changed from 28518 to 27009 in July 2017, in order to comply with recommended guidelines. https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/the-ports-of-the-intelr-software-license-manager

6.     The Intel® Software License Manager uses two ports to serve licenses - one for lmgrd (the main license service) and one for the INTEL vendor daemon.  Both ports must be open and not blocked by a firewall.
