Generate Font in Nios C

Hello All,

I have made a project where i acquire frames from a vga signal -> store them into memory as progressive frames -> use vga controller to display the feed on a monitor.

Using my nios I can access the a frame for processing before it is displayed on the monitor.

My question is how can I generate fonts in C to overwrite a small portion of the frame with a frame counter value ??

Any help would be much appreciated !
