How to sample a sawtooth waveform

The goal of my project is to sample the sawtooth waveform that has 100MHz frequency. I have to sample the lowest point, the highest point and the middle point. I still have no idea about how to do this. Please give me a more specific direction.

Thank you guys!

I am sorry, you will need to add more clarity to this request.

Is the Sawtooth waveform on some external device, and is it being brough into the FPGA via an A/D that is sampling the waveform, and into the FPGA?

Please provide more details, or is that what you are suposed to propose as part of this exercise?

Sorry! It's not clear enough.

I am using Altera DSP Board and try to sample a sawtooth waveform from the oscilloscope. So, the analog signal is coming from the output of the oscilloscope and go into the A/D converter on the board. Then I have to sample the lowest point, the highest point and the middle point and store these data in the memory. Do you have any idea to do that?

Thanks a lot!!
