An error message states "The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted." I downloaded and reattempted several times with the same result. I am using no proxy and nodownload manager. Please advise.

That seems hard to diagnose at a distance. Shortage of disk space, ISP limits on size of downloads, .... ?

Albeit unlikely, it all points to a bad installer. I have ample disk space anda dedicated 100mb connection. When I downloaded the file, I was getting over 64mb/second from Intel. I downloadISO DVD images from Microsoft at a similar speed with no problems.

I was able to download the file using the Akamai download manager. This seems like a hack to work around a problem on Akamai's side.
