I am running Fedora 9 & when I do ./install.sh --duplicate $HOME/data/vtune_silent.ini, I get ": No such file or directory". The file is there.
Any clues ?

If the user installs v9.1 Update 2 on Fedora* 9 and 10 with "root" user in local driver, it should work.
If the user installs the product with "silent" mode, there is a known issue on v9.1 U2. The user should submit an issuseonto https://premier.intel.com, and support engineer will provide a patch version to fix this problem.
Please don't use default vtune_silent.ini
# ./install.sh -r myconfig.ini
to generate myconfig.ini,then uninstalled the product.
# /opt/intel/vtune/bin/uninstall_vtune.sh
# ./install.sh --silent ./myconfig.ini
