We have published an update to our popular Intel Core i7 processor optimization guide. This update addresses the wholeCore i7 processor family, including the Xeon 5500 series processor. It also includes sections on server/HPC issues and marks each potential performance issue as applying to single-socket platforms, dual-socket, or both.

This guide is aimed at introductory VTune analyzer users. Check it out & Let us know what you think in this thread!
