Does VTune Amplifier XE on Linux support thread profiling?

Does VTune Amplifier XE Linux version do Thread Profiling? As background the previous Linux version of VTune didn't do thread profiling whereas the Windows version did:

It looks like Intel with ethe new VTune Amplifier XE versionhave done some degree of combination of the Parallel Amplifier product (previously just available for Windows) with the vTune product. So perhaps VTune now doesthread profiling on Linux?

Hi David,

As a quick answer: Yes, VTune Amplifier XE 2011 supports on both Windows* and Linux*, the toolprovides timeline report to analyze threads' activities. The user alsocan Zoom-inspecific time range and filter datalike as Intel Thread Profiler, please try "Concurrency" analysis and "LocksandWaits" analysis fornew product.
