Hi,
I am new to this forum and Intel software.
I encountered some problems with Intel Advisor XE (2016 update 2) while I am using it for my program written in Fortran. I use with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013. Since 2 months ago, I have no problem in analyzing with Advisor XE until yesterday. My machine is x64 and I compiled in 64bit as well. Windows 7 professional 64 bit.
The error shows once I start 'Survey Target'. The error message is as below:
"Collection has been started.
Error: [Instrumentation Engine]: Failed to allocate Injector, Error = INJECTOR_ERR_NO_ACTIVE_SERVER Pin is exiting due to fatal error
Collection has failed. 2"
I haven't seen this error before and cannot find any clues on the net.
When I try to collect again in survey target, the message is shown as:
"Result directory is locked
Cannot update current result because the result directory 'C:\xxxx\Documents\Visual Studio 2013\Projects\abs_tri_Runcase\static\My Advisor XE Results - static\e000\hs000-bad' is locked."
How should I solve this issue? Any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

I could solve the problem now. By disabling anti-virus in the system, it is back to normal.
