Hello all,
I have a general installation question about Intel® Inspector XE and and the other Intel software development products. Once you've installed an update, is it okay to uninstall previous updates if they aren't uninstalled automatically? For example, if I have "Intel Inspector XE 2015 Update 2" installed, will uninstalling "Intel Inspector XE 2015 Update 1" affect the functionality of the product? And does the same go for the other Intel software development products such as Intel Composer XE?
Thank you all in advance for your help,
Brandon

It depends on different product in Intel(R) Parallel Parallel,
Inspector XE installer will detect if prior version was exist, then uninstall prior version first then install new one.
VTune Amplifier XE installer will detect if prior version was exist; if prior version is 2013, the user can keep this and install 2015 (two versions co-exist in one system); if prior version is 2015, the installer should uninstall old one then install new one.
Composer XE installer don't care if there are prior versions (2013 or 2015, any update version) installed, the installer don't need to uninstall old one - just install new one.
