Intel VTune support for latest Windows 11

The most recent version of Intel VTune does not appear to be compatible with newest versions of Windows 11. Is there a new version coming that supports the latest version of Windows?

I'm currently blocked on doing any low level profiling tasks at my work due to this issue. I cannot revert to an older version of Windows.

The VTune drivers tend to be a release behind the latest version of Windows, since the developers need to wait until it is released to support it. This is particularly important for the VTSS driver, which enables stack sampling for hardware-based sampling and can cause crashes and BSODs if it is incompatible.

 

I expect that the next release will support it, and will confirm with the driver team. In the meantime, you can still run hotspots with user-mode sampling (with stacks) and hardware-based sampling collections without stacks.
