Hi,
There is a customer using E3 servers and curious about the support for bandwidth metric collection of E3 series. Does VTune XE have a plan to support this? or is it not going to happen because of E3's hardware matter?

I wonder that E3 processor is SandyBridge architecture, VTune(TM) Amplifier XE 2015 already supports bandwidth analysis, that is,
# amplxe-cl -collect-list | grep bandwidth
bandwidth Bandwidth
core2-bandwidth-breakdown Bandwidth Breakdown - Intel Core 2 Processor Family
wsmex-read-bandwidth Read Bandwidth - Nehalem / Westmere
wsmex-write-bandwidth Write Bandwidth - Nehalem / Westmere
What is your processor type in detail?

Hi Peter,
thanks for your comment,
The customer's using Haswell. I was missing some details sorry. They want to measure PCIe bandwidth. Does VTune XE 2015 support this also?
Thanks!

Haswell can be supported on memory bandwidth analysis.
I don't know your meanings of "PCIe bandwidth" in general, I remember that Intel(R) Xeon(TM) Phi coprocessor use PCIe for data transferring - but VTune Amplifier XE doesn't profile this bandwidth, VTune can profile data read/write on Intel Xeon Phi.
VTune Amplifier XE only collects performance data On-core or Uncore.

VTune Amplifier does not measure PCIe bandwidth, only memory bandwidth to/from the processor.
