Problem with MPI Snapshot Performance

Hello,

I am trying to use MPI Performance Snapshot 2017 and I get this error :

python: symbol lookup error: /opt/tools/intel/studio/2017/itac/2017.3.030/intel64/slib/libmps.so: undefined symbol: PMPI_Initialized

I am using Intel mpi/17, intel/17.0.4, and python/2.7.8.

Can you help me ?

Hello,

Neither MPS (EOLed) nor APS (its follower) cannot gracefully work with MPI bindings from python. We know about the problem and plan to fix it in upcoming releases of APS but I cannot get any particular date now. Will keep you posted.

Is this issue fixed? I am facing the same issue. Tried multiple ways.

mpirun -n 7 /glob/development-tools/parallel-studio/vtune_amplifier/bin64/aps -r=./vtune python face_detection_v8.py

OR

mpiexec -aps -n 7 python face_detection_v8.py

no, the issue is not fixed. Probably you can try VTune as some alternative.
