Problems uninstalling VTune 9.1 for Linux

Hi all,

I tried to uninstall VTune 9.1 for Linux by following the instructions here, but when I restart my PC, I get the following error messages:

Starting ntd: 12:01:15 23-04-10 /etc/rc5.d/S28ntd: start
chown: `sag:sag': invalid user

Please enter the release version number [711|721|731] or ENTER:

Please enter the dcom internal version number

How should I fix this?

Hi again,

I ended up reinstalling VTune, then uninstalling using the script provided:

/opt/intel/vtune/bin/uninstall_vtune.sh

and it worked.
