Profiling an Application over time

Hi,

I have interest in profiling an application over time. Is it possible to instruct the collector, sampling or callgraph, to generate results without finalizing the activity?

To make it clear, Is it possible to obtain

Activity
R1 @ t
R2 @ 2t
R2 @ 3t
...

without finalizing the activity and running from the start again with different durations?

That's not a current functionality on the Linux product, GM. Sounds like a great suggestion though, for a new feature.
