Welcome to the forum. I haven't seen that error message before, but it could be something having to do with the sampling driver. There are updated drivers at: http://www.intel.com/cd/software/products/asmo-na/eng/229869.htm. If you don't find a pre-built driver for your kernel, you can also download the VTune analyzer Driver Kit by clicking the VTune Performance Analyzer Driver Kit link just above the table of pre-built drivers. Also, check the Release Notes for the list of tested environments. If none of this works, you can submit a technical support issue at https://premier.intel.com and the tech support team will respond to the question. Hope this helps!
