Please help me find a workaround of patch for this.  THERE IS NO SECURE BOOT OPTION IN BIOS.

amplxe-sepreg.exe -i
Installing and starting socperf2_0...
FAILED
Reason: The socperf2_0 driver may not be properly signed; error code:577
Installing and starting VTSS++ driver...FAILED

Specs:
Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (base install, no updates)
Intel Core i3
16GB DDR3 RAM

Hi John,

Please let know what is your VTune Amplifier version?

Also please check if you have Hyper-V enabled in Windows settings and/or Virtualization Technology in BIOS?

Regards, Katya

We're using VTune Amplifier 2008 (64-bit).  Virtualization is enabled in BIOS, but Hyper-V is disabled.

Hi John,

I beleive you meant VTune Amplifier 2018?

Please turn OFF BIOS VMX (virtualization feature) and re-try loading drivers.

Also double check that your OS has support for SHA-2 Code Signing verification: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/security-updates/SecurityAdvisories/2015/3033929
