VTSS driver failing to start with exit code -6

I tried using vtune but am unable to detect the hardware. After some follow up looking I'm getting the following issue:

C:\Windows\System32>amplxe-sepreg.exe -i

Warning, socperf3 driver is already installed and will be re-used... skipping

Installing and starting sepdrv5... OK

Installing and starting sepdal... OK

Installing and starting vtss... FAILED

Reason: Failed to start vtss service; error code: -6

According to a previous forum post this could be related to the windows version.

I am currently on the beta channel build:

Edition Windows 11 Home
Version 23H2
Installed on ‎2/‎17/‎2024
OS build 22635.3646
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1013.0

Vtune version:

No there is no output.

Thanks for reporting the issue. This is one known issue observed on the latest Windows 11 builds. The issue will be fixed in future releases.
