Hi,
I am using VTune Analyser 8.0on a Fedora Core 4Linux, together with the Intel C++ Compiler 9.1. Everything worked well, until i tried to integrate the vtune plugins to the C++ Compiler Eclipse environment (following the release notes...). After this integration, the analyzer gives always the same error message after an activity: An error occured during drill-down. Cause of error cannot be determined. Looking through the forums i did not find any solution, and trying to roll back the eclipse integration did not solve the problem.
What can i do????? hope to hear soon from you
Best regards,
martin

Hi Martin,
VTune 8.0 (build #245) didn't have full support for Fedora Core 4.
Try to replace it with a newly released VTune 8.0.2 (build #608 can be downloaded from premier.intel.com and should work with your 8.0 license).
You can integrate the VTune into existing Eclipse by using "Custom" install option and then selecting "Integrate into existing eclipse"option while installing Eclipse plug-ins.
Regards,
Katya
