VTune crash

When I try to profile my application, I get the following error:

vcs/collectunits1/tmu/src/tmu.c:313 tpss_tmu_file_writer_destroy: Assertion 'file_open == w->open' failed.

This is followed by one of the threads crashing and its stack trace.

This happens regardless of whether I run General Exploration or Basic Hotspots.

In case of Basic Hotspots, VTune hangs and never finished. General Exploration is able to finish the profile, though I am not sure if I can trust the data.

What is causing this?
