cannot install vtune for mac

Hi, 

I cannot install vtune amplifier for mac gui (2018 update 3). my account is in administrator group. i have input the correct. password

PS: I googled this issue but cannot open links to many pages, such as this one: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-vtune-amplifier-xe/topic/542121

Hi Yao,

Could you please verify that your account is set as local administrator by looking at System Preferences -> Users & Groups? The checkbox at "Allow user to administer this computer" should be set. If your account got these rights, you should be able to install VTune Amplifier using "Install as Administrator" option.
