"Termniate Application Forcibly?" error message when loading an app in VTune

I am using the eval version of Intel VTune Peformance Analyzer 9.1 for Windows.

When start VTune, I select "Quick Performance Analysis" and specify an app executable to load. And then select "Collect sampling data" option, and then click "Go" button.

After the app is launched for about 30 seconds, I see a messagebox "Termniate Application Forcibly?", as in the following screenshot



Then I have to click "Yes" to close the app.

What is the problem?

That was due to timeout for sampling,VTuneAnalyzerterminates your app then stop sampling data collection.

You can modify activity to change Duration value to bigger number (e.g. 3600), or set "zero" (no time-limit). In this way, you will exit application by yourself then VTune Analyzer stops sampling (if you enable "Stop Collection - When application terminates (before duration completes)".
