thread checker failed to start exe

i use thread checker 3.1.020 and VS2008.

simply create a win32 console application and comiple it.

if i choose a thread checker activity from vtune menu.

it pops up "failed to create activity, please check the setting."

but it seems that the setting are all right....

any one can help me?
