there is another Intel's tool Assure Thread Analyzer that:
"...automatically locates both common and subtle programming errors in threaded applications, with no recoding required. The Assure Thread Analyzer increases software quality while dramatically reducing or even eliminating time spent debugging. The Assure Thread Analyzer supports C and C++ language applications that use POSIX* threads on Linux*."
